Great location for Kings Cross / St Pancras. I have stayed here before and feel safe here. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bed and bedroom are clean. Good wifi reception while I was there.

The bathroom was quite mildewy. The kettle kept shedding rust. There was no bedside lamp, so no way to turn a light on/off without getting out of bed.

Confort, simplicité, proximité de la gare St-Pancras
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
Petit point négatif, la barrière de la langue. A la proximité de la gare St-Pancras, un accueil un minimum francophone aurait été un plus pour des voyageurs au minimum anglophone comme nous. Mais nous nous sommes très compris.

Ubicación perfecta , a 1 minuto de la estación y prácticamente cerca del centro ( en metro ) . Habitación muy limpia , sin ruidos , personal muy amables y atentos. Hacían la habitación cada día , camas y toallas limpias . Agua caliente para las duchas . Si quieres secador te lo dejan en recepción . Había calentador d ahua para infusiones , capsular de leche y sobres de café. También disponía de una pequeña nevera . Todo súper bien , repetiría!

I stayed at the Carlton. The fellows at the front desk are welcoming and always helpful. The stay was utterly quiet , which I value above all. The cleaning staff were reliable , very good service . The location works for me , as I never had far to go for bus , tube or train . Priority for me . The reasonable pricing structure allows me to stay a decent amount of time in London, so affordability is very important .

This is a convenient location and good value for money. The staff are helpful and friendly

The quality of the rooms is 'adequate'. They could be a bit cleaner; in my room, the clothes rack was hanging off the wall. Also - bring your own shower gel etc; the hotel provides hand soap only.

Clean warm basement room with easy to operate shower. Friendly and helpful reception staff.

A bit weird that the television was out of synch, perhaps due to faulty time settings? On the hour., none of the channels had any news headlines.
